About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join our dynamic team and drive excellence in Accounts Payable operations. As an AP Operations Coordinator, you will play a critical role in streamlining processes and driving efficiency across our organisation.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Accurate Processing of Supplier Invoices: Ensure timely and accurate processing of all supplier invoices for all companies within the group.
  • Maintaining Document Scanning and Indexing: Maintain the scanning and indexing of documents to ensure efficient document management.
  • Checking Supplier Statements: Check supplier statements and index documents to prevent any discrepancies.
  • Following up Outstanding Invoices: Follow up on outstanding invoices with suppliers to resolve any issues promptly.
  • Weekly Payments: Ensure weekly payments are accurately captured into the banking system in a timely manner.
  • Meet Month End Accounting Requirements: Meet all month-end accounting and reporting requirements for areas of responsibility.
  • Process Improvement: Identify sources of problems and develop effective solutions to improve processes by liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Correspondence with Vendors: Correspond with vendors and respond to enquiries in a professional manner.
Requirements
  • Strong IT Skills: Possess strong IT skills to efficiently manage accounts payable operations.
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrate a strong attention to detail and accuracy in your work.
  • Communication Skills: Exhibit well-developed verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with internal stakeholders and vendors.
  • Experience in Similar Roles: Display demonstrated experience in similar accounts payable roles, showcasing your ability to adapt to new challenges.
  • Familiarity with NetSuite: Familiarity with NetSuite is desirable but not essential.
