We are seeking a highly skilled AP Operations Specialist to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to work for a leading provider of funeral and pet cremation services in Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for accurate processing of all supplier invoices, maintaining scanning and indexing of documents, checking supplier statements, and ensuring weekly payments are accurately captured into the banking system. You will also be required to improve processes by liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders, as well as supporting the finance team during busy periods.

As an AP Operations Specialist, you will have the opportunity to drive excellence in AP operations, collaborate across teams, and optimize collections. You will work closely with our dynamic team to streamline processes, drive efficiency, and make an immediate impact on our growing company.

Responsibilities
  • Accurate processing of all supplier invoices
  • Maintaining the scanning and indexing of documents
  • Checking supplier statements and indexing of documents
  • Ensuring weekly payments are accurately captured into the banking system
  • Improving processes by liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Supporting the finance team during busy periods
About You

We are looking for someone with strong IT skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. You should have demonstrated experience in a similar accounts payable role and be familiar with NetSuite. You will be able to build and negotiate relationships at all levels and have excellent problem-solving and time management skills.
