About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Officer to join our dynamic accounts payable team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a market leader, driving excellence in AP operations and collaborating across teams to optimize collections.

As a Finance Officer, you will be responsible for accurate processing of all supplier invoices, maintaining document scanning and indexing, checking supplier statements, and ensuring timely payments.

You will also improve processes by liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders to identify sources of problems and develop effective solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Accurate processing of all supplier invoices for all companies in the group in a timely manner
  • Maintaining the scanning and indexing of documents
  • Checking supplier statements and indexing of documents
  • Checking supplier statements and following up on outstanding invoices
  • Ensure weekly payments are accurately captures into the banking system in a timely manner
  • Meet all month end accounting and reporting requirements for areas of responsibility
  • Improving processes by liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders to identify sources of problems and develop effective solutions
  • Supplier creation
  • Correspond with vendors and respond to enquiries
  • Support the finance team
  • Other tasks as required from time to time
  • Daily processing and allocations of payments
  • Manage inbound and outbound dealings internally and with our suppliers
  • Effectively manage assigned AP tickets and inbox
Requirements
  • Strong IT skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy Well developed verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated experienced in similar accounts payable role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, forward thinking, and proactive approach
  • Ability to build and negotiate relationships at all levels
  • Excellent discovery, research, problem-solving and time management skills
  • Familiar with Net Suite – desirable, however not essential

Salary and Benefits

This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including:
