Lead Project Manager - Commercial Construction

Project Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Project Manager to lead our most technically challenging mid-tier project. This is an exceptional opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to deliver a large-scale commercial construction project in Castle Hill.

The project involves constructing a new second floor on top of an existing operational building, while also delivering 1,000sqm of road removal and a brand-new car park. The ideal candidate will have true leadership skills, technical confidence, and the ability to inspire subcontractors and work collaboratively with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take full ownership of the program, budget, and procurement strategy.
  • Lead the structural extension: RC frames, structural steel, slabs, services coordination, roofing and solar integration.
  • Manage consultant and client relationships with confidence.
  • Oversee subcontractors across both the new floor build and external civil packages (road removal, car park, drainage, services relocation).
  • Drive HSEQ outcomes and ensure the project meets both program and quality expectations.

Requirements:

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • A proven track record delivering structural-heavy commercial/industrial builds ($10M–$30M).
  • Experience with complex extensions or live-site projects where planning and sequencing are key.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to inspire subcontractors and work collaboratively with clients.
  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency with full working rights.
