Commercial Project Leader

Project engineers with a strong background in construction management are sought after to lead commercial and industrial projects from inception to completion.

Responsibilities:
  • Support project managers in planning, scheduling, and budgeting tasks
  • Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors for timely delivery and cost-effectiveness
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, contracts, and regulations
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation (schedules, contracts, change orders)
  • Monitor progress and update managers on milestones and issues
  • Coordinate with team members to complete tasks on time and within budget
  • Track expenses and provide regular updates to managers
  • Identify and resolve issues, escalating to managers as needed
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Project Engineer or Site Manager on projects exceeding $50 million
  • Proven experience working for a Tier 1 or 2 builder
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in project engineering within the construction industry
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
  • Detail-oriented with an analytical mindset
  • Reliable references
  • Must already be in Australia to be considered for this role
  • Experience working on commercial type projects within Australia
