Senior Project Manager Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee the delivery of a large-scale new build commercial/life science project.

  • The ideal candidate will have at least 5-15 years of experience in managing commercial medium to high-rise / life science projects.
  • Proven knowledge of contract administration and base-build construction is required.
  • Experience managing general conditions of contract such as AS4902 is also essential.
  • The successful candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport at all levels.
  • Advanced computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Excel are necessary for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Client management and consultation
  2. Project planning/feasibility studies
  3. Design management and value engineering
  4. Procurement of construction services
  5. Delivery of construction services
  6. Cost control and cost reporting
  7. Commissioning and post-contract duties for handover
  8. Oversight and delivery of the project

Requirements:

  • A sound understanding of overall construction programs and plans
  • Ability to identify key client and builder obligations
