We are offering a competitive salary of approximately $65,000 per annum, commensurate with industry standards and taking into account the unique demands of this role in our hotel environment.


Job Description


This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Reservation Agent, where you will be responsible for handling enquiries for bookings via various channels, providing exceptional customer service and promoting hotel facilities to maximize sales.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Respond to guest enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, obtaining all relevant information and adhering to hotel reservation policies.
  • Utilize strong product knowledge to promote hotel facilities and services, ensuring seamless communication with guests and internal teams.
  • Assist Front Office staff during peak periods, providing support with guest check-in and check-out processes.
  • Handle guest complaints and feedback in a professional manner, escalating concerns to management as necessary.

Required Skills and Qualifications


To succeed in this role, you will require:



  • A minimum of 1 year's experience in a similar reservations environment or customer-facing role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Opera Cloud systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in English, with additional languages a significant advantage.
