Description:

Are you a detail-oriented professional looking to make a meaningful impact in the disability support sector? We are seeking an experienced APS4 level Planner to join our team, working closely with participants and their representatives to provide operational and administrative support.

This role is focused on supporting participants to manage their plans effectively and ensuring funding decisions align with policy and legislation. You will analyze participant records, work with participants and their representatives via phone, maintain high-quality records, research and review decisions, and complete administrative tasks accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze participant records using relevant policy, guidelines, and legislation to make informed funding decisions
  • Work with participants and their representatives via phone to understand current circumstances and spending patterns
  • Maintain high-quality records in line with process guidelines and standard operating procedures
  • Research and review decisions, managing moderately complex cases with guidance from senior staff
  • Complete administrative and data entry tasks accurately and within set timeframes

Requirements:

You will bring strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to manage sensitive or difficult conversations with empathy and professionalism, solid IT skills, including data entry and analysis, strong time management and workload prioritization skills, and capacity to manage multiple participant records simultaneously.

Benefits:

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $43.82 per hour plus 12% superannuation, full-time employment with 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, hybrid work arrangements available after training, and a supportive, inclusive, and purpose-driven team environment.
