Lead Planner Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Planner to join our team. As a key member of our Planning department, you will play a crucial role in providing expert planning advice and ensuring the successful delivery of projects.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced planner to take on a leadership position within our organization. You will be responsible for managing a team of planners, overseeing project planning and coordination, and developing strategies to achieve business goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective project plans, ensuring timely completion and meeting or exceeding agreed goals.
  • Manage and coordinate planning teams, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives, identifying new opportunities and fostering relationships with clients.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, applying knowledge to improve planning processes and deliver innovative solutions.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Urban and Regional Planning or Architecture/Urban Design.
  • Proven experience in statutory or strategic planning, preferably in NSW.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members.
  • Self-motivated and self-directed, with a passion for problem-solving and delivering high-quality results.
