**Job Title:** Urban Planning Strategist

We are seeking an experienced Urban Planning Strategist to join our team in NSW. As a key member of our planning team, you will contribute to the development and implementation of urban planning strategies that enhance the quality of life for our communities.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive urban planning strategies that address the needs of diverse communities;
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights;
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and other documentation to communicate findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders;
  • Manage and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and deadlines to ensure timely delivery;
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and external partners to promote collaboration and knowledge sharing;
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements to maintain expertise and provide informed guidance to clients;
  • Promote a culture of innovation, creativity, and continuous improvement within the team.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in urban planning, architecture, or a related field;
  • At least 5 years of experience in urban planning, with a focus on strategy development and project management;
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint;
  • A willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings and site visits.
