Job Title: Power Transmission Expert – Regional Expert

The Role: As a Power Transmission Expert, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise with a focus on transmission networks, including grid connections. You will work closely with developers, investors, and owners of renewable energy, storage, and power network infrastructure to drive growth initiatives in Australia.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical due diligence for developers, investors, and owners of renewable energy, storage, and power network infrastructure.
  • Lead growth initiatives in Australia as a seller-doer.
  • Carry out and oversee transmission planning studies, including steady-state and dynamic stability studies.
  • Contribute to Australian and global power networks knowledge, power sector regulation, and electricity markets.
  • Lead teams and manage complex projects.

Qualifications:

  • Must have a University and Master's degree in Energy Economics / Economic Regulation, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or similar.
  • Significant experience in lead generation and business development, with a strong track record establishing lasting relationships with private sector customers in the renewable and storage industry and with power utilities in Australia.
  • Excellent understanding of Australian and global power networks and power systems, power sector regulation, electricity markets.
  • Solid experience in successfully leading teams and managing complex projects.
