Senior Transmission Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Transmission Expert to join our team. As a key member of our consulting division, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and leading complex projects in the field of power transmission.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical guidance on transmission networks, including grid connections and steady-state stability studies.
  • Lead generation and business development with private sector customers in the renewable and storage industry and with power utilities in Australia.
  • Carry out and oversee transmission planning studies, including dynamic stability studies.
  • Apply knowledge of Australian and global power networks and power systems, regulation, and electricity markets to project work.
  • Lead teams and manage complex projects; review and implement technical regulations including grid codes.

Requirements:

  • University degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, or similar field.
  • Significant experience in lead generation and business development with strong relationships across private sector customers in renewable and storage and with power utilities in Australia.
  • Experience reviewing and implementing technical regulations including grid codes.
  • Experience with transmission-level concept design and transmission planning studies.
  • Excellent understanding of Australian and global power networks, power systems, power sector regulation, and electricity markets.
  • Solid experience in leading teams and managing complex projects.
  • Native or professional-level English proficiency.
