We connect more than 10,000 grain growers with local and international customers via Australia's largest silo network.

About the Position

As Assistant Site Manager, you will report to the Site Manager and work alongside a team of permanent Grain Handlers delivering safe and effective service in grain reception, storage and outload via road and rail.

  1. Coordinate daily workflow of the team and support attraction, selection, training and development of permanent and casual team members
  2. Develop and maintain relationships with growers, customers, local community groups and internal stakeholders
  3. Support resource planning for grain receival / outload activity during peak and off-peak periods
  4. Support planning and execution of scheduled and ad-hoc maintenance, grain protection, safety and quality activities and related reporting
  5. Supervise seasonal workforce during busy harvest intake periods, including multiple sites
About Your Expertise

We seek candidates with plant operations experience gained in any industry, strong safety mindset and genuine desire to contribute to agricommodities industry.

  • Experience supervising teams or potential to
  • Good communication skills, time management and IT literacy
  • Capability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Forklift, front-end loader ticket or HR Truck licence advantageous
