Key Senior Sales Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced commercial leader to join our team as a National Business Manager.

  • This is a key senior sales role in the PZ Cussons business, responsible for driving growth and providing leadership across the wider commercial team.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering sales growth and a strong understanding of the retail partnership landscape.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Developing and leading strategic partnerships with Coles, ensuring alignment on growth strategies, investment, and innovation.
  2. Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders within Coles.
  3. Managing total business results through the implementation of joint growth initiatives, supply chain development, and strong financial management.
  4. Motivating, coaching, and developing the Coles team to implement strategic and tactical plans within the accounts at point of purchase.
  5. Playing a broad leadership role in the sales team by driving a culture of delivery of overall functional objectives forming a key part of the SLT (Sales Lead Team).
  6. Ensuring achievement of category objectives (financial and market) at both brand and customer levels through the formulation and implementation of short- and long-term business plans for each customer in Australia.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in FMCG sales roles at national business management level with a proven track record of consistent achievement in sales negotiation, targets, and results.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence at different levels of organizations.
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate analytical agility.
  • Demonstrated leadership of a team and business issues.
  • Team-based approach to achieving business outcomes.
