You will lead the delivery of a refreshed commercial framework that supports future agreements and drives strategic reform across the organisation. This role is central to shaping commercial priorities, aligning contract management across workstreams, and influencing long-term planning.

  • You're a strategic leader with a strong commercial mindset and a proven track record in negotiating and delivering complex projects.

  • You are a polished communicator who is comfortable interfacing at an executive level.

  • Your strengths include high-level stakeholder engagement, strong negotiation skills, exceptional interpersonal and leadership capability, commitment to compliance and integrity, clear and persuasive communication, resilience and adaptive thinking, and collaborative working style.

  • A relevant degree qualification in commerce, finance, economics, business management, or related commercial discipline is highly regarded.

  • Demonstrated alignment with values such as responsiveness, integrity, impartiality, accountability, respect, leadership, and human rights.

Main Accountabilities:
  • Leading negotiations for strategic infrastructure and telecommunications agreements.
  • Driving revenue growth across supplier management and operator engagement, including marketing and advertising streams.
  • Finalising inter-operator transport agreements and deliver high-impact outcomes for Victorian communities.
  • Building strong partnerships across government, industry, and community stakeholders.
  • Ensuring governance, budget compliance, and workforce planning are aligned with strategic goals.
  • Leading commercially focused ways of working.
