Job Title: Strategic Commercial Director

The role of a Strategic Commercial Director involves developing and implementing commercial strategies that drive business growth, collaborating closely with Sales and Supply Chain teams, and reporting to the Chief Financial Officer.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To develop financial plans and analyze performance data to inform strategic decision-making aligned with business objectives.
  • Evaluate market trends and competitive landscapes to inform strategic decision making.
  • Act as a critical member of the finance SLT, providing commercial support to the General Manager Sales, CFO, Supply Chain Manager, CEO, and broader executive leadership team.
  • Play a critical role in the Sales & Operations Planning process, including driving significant improvements and building and owning the S&OP financial model.
  • Risk management and performance improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • CA/CPA/MBA qualified with significant experience in a medium to large, complex business partnering sales and supply chain functions.
  • Superior commercial orientation with demonstrated experience partnering operational executives.
  • Transformational zeal and a flair for process improvement.
  • Hands-on commercial leader with the ability to be 'in the detail.'
  • Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and ability to build rapport with all levels of stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills, the ability to meet tight deadlines, and work both autonomously and as a team.
