Job Summary

This role will require troubleshooting skills to support process improvements, work order completion, preventive maintenance, projects, and general maintenance. The successful candidate will work well in a team environment, demonstrate multi-tasked and multi-skilled technical abilities, and have the ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with all prescribed Health, Safety, and Environmental laws, rules, and regulations.
  • Complete all required safety and regulatory training as applicable.
  • Maintain accurate and complete records of work performed.
  • Interface with all levels of Team Members in a positive and team-building manner.
  • Work from established procedures and/or verbal instructions.
  • Perform all basic duties as required or assigned.
  • Maintain work areas in a neat and orderly condition in accordance with Visual Management and 5S Standards.
  • Escalate all issues affecting key metrics: Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.
  • Perform other duties as assigned due to business needs.

Requirements

  • Certificates of skill in areas such as Welding, Rigging, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, and Bearing.
  • At least 5 years of work-related experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrate trouble-shooting skills.
  • Ability to work alone on complex jobs with minimal assistance required or guidance from Engineering or Supervision.
  • Basic electrical competencies, including Switches, Photo-eyes.
  • Demonstrated behaviors such as Mentor, Train, Lead, and Communicating Properly and Appropriately.
  • Physical capabilities: Lifting up to 60#, with the ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time, stretching, climbing, twisting, turning, standing, pulling, pushing, reaching, and bending.
