Job Opportunity:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed professional to join our team in a key role that requires strong relationship-building skills, negotiation expertise, and the ability to influence stakeholders.

This is a pivotal position that entails growing major gifts fundraising revenue through proactive relationship management of key supporters (Major Donors) and key supporter prospects based in Victoria and Tasmania.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing personalised cultivation and solicitation strategies to engage major donor prospects and retain and upgrade existing key supporters.

  • Securing substantial contributions to advance the organisation's purpose of achieving a just and sustainable world without poverty.
  • Achieving financial targets and securing major gifts/grants of $50,000 and higher from high net-worth individuals and trusts/foundations.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and Implement Strategies: Create and implement tailored plans to cultivate and solicit major donors and key supporter prospects.

Solicit Major Gifts/Grants: Secure significant funding from high net-worth individuals and trusts/foundations to support the organisation's goals.

Built Strong Relationships: Foster long-lasting relationships with major donors and key supporter prospects to ensure sustained support.

Monitor Progress: Regularly track and evaluate progress towards achieving financial targets and organisational goals.

Requirements:

Demonstrated Experience: A minimum of 3+ years' experience in Major Gift fundraising with a proven success record in building strong relationships.

Negotiation and Influencing Skills: Proven ability to negotiate and influence stakeholders to secure funding and achieve organisational goals.

Strong Communication Skills

]: Excellent oral and written communication, presentation, and promotion skills to communicate organisational priorities to various audiences.What We Offer:
