
Compassionate Intervention Specialist

About this Role:
- Deliver interventions to NDIS participants, specifically children aged 0-8, and their families, leading to positive outcomes.
As a Key Worker, every day will be unique. Here are some of the things you may do:
- Work in diverse settings, including homes, schools, playgrounds, and community centers.
- Attend initial appointments with families at their homes, utilizing assessment and communication skills to get to know them, their child, and goals.
- Collaborate with preschool teachers to support children in developing motor skills.
- Coach parents in finding suitable schools for their children.
- Work with Speech Pathologists and family members to support children in developing communication and social skills.
- Build meaningful relationships with participants and their supporters.
- Document and bill sessions through an online management system.
- Provide support for children after school to establish consistent routines.
- Attend team meetings, sharing stories of impact, learning, and collaboration.
- Meet with your Team Leader and Therapy Mentor for clinical guidance and support.
- Participate in online mentoring sessions to build knowledge and skills.
This role involves:
- Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality interventions.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with participants and their families.
- Utilizing various skills and technologies to support participants' goals and aspirations.
- Engaging in ongoing professional development to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
