Key Worker Job Opportunity

About this Role:

  • Deliver interventions to NDIS participants, specifically children aged 0-8, and their families, leading to positive outcomes.

As a Key Worker, every day will be unique. Here are some of the things you may do:

  • Work in diverse settings, including homes, schools, playgrounds, and community centers.
  • Attend initial appointments with families at their homes, utilizing assessment and communication skills to get to know them, their child, and goals.
  • Collaborate with preschool teachers to support children in developing motor skills.
  • Coach parents in finding suitable schools for their children.
  • Work with Speech Pathologists and family members to support children in developing communication and social skills.
  • Build meaningful relationships with participants and their supporters.
  • Document and bill sessions through an online management system.
  • Provide support for children after school to establish consistent routines.
  • Attend team meetings, sharing stories of impact, learning, and collaboration.
  • Meet with your Team Leader and Therapy Mentor for clinical guidance and support.
  • Participate in online mentoring sessions to build knowledge and skills.

This role involves:

  • Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality interventions.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with participants and their families.
  • Utilizing various skills and technologies to support participants' goals and aspirations.
  • Engaging in ongoing professional development to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
