We are seeking an experienced Disability Support Worker to join our team at Help at Hand Support Services in Keilor East. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing person-centred support to individuals with disabilities, enabling them to live independently and participate fully in their communities.
Key Responsibilities- Provide daily living support to clients, including assistance with personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks
- Assist clients with accessing community resources and services, such as healthcare, education, and employment
- Develop and implement individualised support plans to meet the unique needs and goals of each client
- Work collaboratively with clients, families, and other support workers to ensure a cohesive and effective support network
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including client progress and support plans
- Minimum Cert III in Disability or equivalent experience
- Current Working with Children Check and Police Check
- First Aid and CPR certificates
- Full and clean Australian driver's license
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of clients
We offer a competitive hourly rate of $31.46 - $41.50, a casual schedule with a rotating roster, and the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities.
