About the Role

The University of South Australia is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Officer to join the Integration Management Office (IMO) in the Curriculum Domain. As a key member of the project team, you will be responsible for leading the planning and delivery of projects in support of the Project Managers and Project Leads in the creation of the new Adelaide University.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with a Domain Lead, Project Lead, Project Manager, Partner staff or other senior IMO staff to provide coordination, oversight and execution of program deliverables
  • Develop and define the scope of project activity
  • Support project progress according to timelines, milestones and deliverables in the project plan, including identifying and communicating changes in priorities and coordination of delivery, tracking, monitoring and mitigating risks
  • Apply and promote a shared IMO project delivery approach through the use of prescribed systems, templates, reports and document storage

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Diploma of Project Management and/or PRINCE2 Foundation certificate, and/or relevant experience in complex environment
  • Demonstrated project management skills with a proven record of successfully administrating the full suite of documents that serve to support a mandated baseline of works in accordance with PMBoK project management standards
  • Demonstrated experience facilitating a structured change management process in order to support change requests, impacts to project baselines, and the underpinning governance requirements
  • Ability to analyse information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, synthesise broad information and analyse at a strategic and detailed level
  • Demonstrated experience in applying effective problem-solving skills and being innovative and creative in generating solutions and facilitating workshops and discussion

About the Curriculum Domain:

The Integration Management Office (IMO) has established functional areas which are referred to as Domains. Each Domain is responsible for executing tasks and producing deliverables that are crucial to the establishment of the new Adelaide University. The Curriculum Domain is developing a future-focused, equitable and industry-relevant education for new generations of learners.
