Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Administrative Support Specialist to join our Enforcement and Support Services branch. In this role, you'll provide critical support to our operations team lead, ensuring the successful administration of the Fines Reform Act 2014. You'll exercise professional judgment regarding the application of standards of service and other relevant rules, policies, and guidelines to assist in the day-to-day operations of Fines Victoria.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate and timely advice and liaison with other Fines Victoria units, enforcement agencies, and other interested parties on infringement and other matters arising within the jurisdiction of Fines Victoria.
  • Exercise professional judgment regarding the application of Standards of Service and other relevant rules, policies, and guidelines to assist in the day-to-day operations of Fines Victoria, including the determination of payment arrangements and enforcement review applications.
  • Liaise with other Fines Victoria units, enforcement agencies, and other interested parties on infringement and other matters arising within the jurisdiction of Fines Victoria.
  • Seek opportunities for continuous improvement and ways to innovate while encouraging others to do the same.

Requirements

  • An understanding of the infringement lifecycle, the Infringements Act 2006, and the Fines Reform Act 2014, or experience in the practical application of other legislation or policies.
  • Competent use of Microsoft Office and relevant IT systems and applications.
  • The ability to seek opportunities for continuous improvement and ways to innovate while encouraging others to do the same.

  • A competitive salary range of $76,817 - $93,275 per annum plus superannuation.

About You

  • You will possess a strong understanding of the infringement lifecycle, the Infringements Act 2006, and the Fines Reform Act 2014, or experience in the practical application of other legislation or policies.
  • You will be highly competent in the use of Microsoft Office and relevant IT systems and applications.
  • You will have the ability to seek opportunities for continuous improvement and ways to innovate while encouraging others to do the same.
