About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead and supervise the Event Centre Audio Visual (ECAV) Lighting Team, providing exceptional lighting services for both performance and corporate events within the Event Centre.

  • Collaborate with other Audio-Visual Heads of Department to ensure seamless delivery of all Audio-Visual services.
  • Develop and manage daily team rosters.
  • Attend production meetings and document lighting requirements for upcoming events.
  • Provide detailed quotations for equipment and labour supplied, meeting production specifications.
  • Maintain regular servicing of lighting systems, performing repairs or engaging contractors when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with business processes and WHS regulations.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Comprehensive experience and skills in the Live Entertainment Industry.
  • Demonstrated technical expertise and experience in all aspects of lighting operation and design.
  • A working knowledge of either Vector Works or Auto CAD programs.
  • Excellent communication, team building, and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work through a 7-day roster.
