We are seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join our team of construction professionals working on various projects in the ACT region. This is a great opportunity to work on a range of projects and develop your skills in contract administration.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare subcontractor packages, scopes, lettings, and procurement schedules
- Assist with progress claims and external variations
- Review, negotiate, and finalize subcontracts
- Manage and track project expenditure, including subcontractor claims
- Administer RFIs to clients, architects, and consultants
- Administer the project HSE system
- Senior and mid-level construction/building contract/commercial management expertise with experience managing head and subcontracts on government building projects
- Demonstrated experience in leading subcontractor/trade administration on medium to large built form projects
- Industry-relevant degree qualification
- Familiarity with Contract Law principles & construction-specific Acts, codes, and Regulations
- Confident and collaborative communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to drive autonomous outcomes and decisions
- Appreciation for process and systems
