Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a senior contract administrator to join our team of construction professionals working on various projects in the Canberra region. With a strong track record of managing head and subcontracts on government building projects, we are looking for someone with exceptional contract administration skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare subcontractor packages, scopes, lettings, and procurement schedules.
  • Assist with progress claims and external variations.
  • Review, negotiate, and finalize subcontracts.
  • Manage and track project expenditure, including subcontractor claims.
  • Administer RFIs to clients, architects, and consultants.
  • Administer the project HSE system.
Requirements
  • Six years or more of senior-level construction/building contract/commercial management experience.
  • A degree qualification related to the construction industry.
  • Familiarity with Contract Law principles and construction-specific Acts, codes, and Regulations.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Able to work autonomously and drive outcomes.
