Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Contracts Administrator to join our team on a commercial project in Canberra, with further growth forecasted in the region.

This is a great opportunity to work with a team of construction professionals on a range of projects in the ACT region. You will be responsible for:

  • Preparing subcontractor packages, scopes, lettings, and procurement schedules
  • Assisting with progress claims and external variations
  • Reviewing, negotiating, and finalizing subcontracts
  • Managing and tracking project expenditure, including subcontractor claims
  • Administering RFIs to clients, architects, and consultants
  • Administering the project HSE system

To be considered for this role, you will require:

  • A senior and mid-level construction/building contract/commercial management skill set, with experience managing head and subcontracts on government building projects
  • Aspiring contract administration level; demonstrated experience in leading subcontractor/trade administration on medium to large built form projects
  • An industry-relevant degree qualification
  • Familiarity with Contract Law principles and construction-specific Acts, codes, and Regulations
  • Confident and collaborative communication skills
  • Self-motivation and the ability to drive autonomous outcomes and decisions
  • Appreciation of processes and systems
