Claims Management Specialist

About the Role
The Claims Management Specialist will provide technical assistance to the Claims Advisors by contributing to and driving proactive claims management in the area of WA Workers Compensation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Claims Advisors to make timely and appropriate decisions.
- Ensure claims strategy is cost effective and tailored.
- Coach and mentor Claims Advisors to ensure sound decision making and development of legislative and regulatory knowledge and skills.
- Act as the subject matter expert for the immediate team in area of specialisation.
- Provide specialist technical and/or professional advice for the authorisation and approval of complex claims.
- Increase awareness of the cost and consequence of technical decisions.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in WA Workers Compensation.
- Experience in Personal Injury Management.
