RAC of WA is seeking a skilled Claims Resolution Specialist to join their team. As a Claims Resolution Specialist, you will be responsible for managing an individual caseload of claims through to finalisation, identifying potential recovery action, and negotiating settlements for claims.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage an individual caseload of claims through to finalisation
  • Identify potential recovery action as part of effective claims management
  • Negotiate on settlements for claims
  • Act as a technical referral point for internal teams
  • Provide empathy and understanding while handling complex conversations
  • Consistently provide service that exceeds member's expectations
  • Identify continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements:

  • Exceptional customer service skills and a high attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to gather, collate and present evidence and make informed decisions
  • Ability to clearly communicate complex processes and decisions to our members
  • Results orientated mindset
  • Self-driven and motivated with the ability to work autonomously
  • Experience in claims lodgement and knowledge of end-to-end claims process desirable
  • Previous experience working within the financial services industry desirable
