Claims Resolution Specialist

RAC of WA is seeking a skilled Claims Resolution Specialist to join their team. As a Claims Resolution Specialist, you will be responsible for managing an individual caseload of claims through to finalisation, identifying potential recovery action, and negotiating settlements for claims.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage an individual caseload of claims through to finalisation
- Identify potential recovery action as part of effective claims management
- Negotiate on settlements for claims
- Act as a technical referral point for internal teams
- Provide empathy and understanding while handling complex conversations
- Consistently provide service that exceeds member's expectations
- Identify continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements:
- Exceptional customer service skills and a high attention to detail
- Excellent communication and strong negotiation skills
- Ability to gather, collate and present evidence and make informed decisions
- Ability to clearly communicate complex processes and decisions to our members
- Results orientated mindset
- Self-driven and motivated with the ability to work autonomously
- Experience in claims lodgement and knowledge of end-to-end claims process desirable
- Previous experience working within the financial services industry desirable
