Job Description

We're currently seeking a highly skilled Compensation Claims Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of workers compensation claims, reviewing medical documents to determine eligibility, and determining liability and managing the claim process through to finalisation.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in allied health, previous workers compensation claims experience, and excellent decision-making skills. If you're looking for a challenging and rewarding role that offers opportunities for growth and development, we'd love to hear from you.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Qualifications in allied health (Nursing, Occupational therapy, physiotherapy, or rehab counseling)
  • Previous workers compensation claims experience
  • Sound decision-making skills
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, making decisions, and managing multiple priorities

What You'll Do

As a Compensation Claims Specialist, you will spend your day managing a portfolio of workers compensation claims, reviewing medical documents to determine eligibility, and determining liability and managing the claim process through to finalisation. You will also have the opportunity to work on process improvement projects and identify the most effective treatment options and manage the injury management and return to work plans.
