At Flexhive, we are seeking an experienced Senior Health and Wellbeing Strategist to join our team in Brisbane.

 

About the Role:

The Senior Health and Wellbeing Strategist will play a pivotal role in shaping our safety culture, ensuring compliance with HSW legislation, and driving initiatives that foster a safe, healthy, and high-performing workplace. This position reports directly to the Director of People and Culture and is responsible for leading strategic workplace health, safety, and wellbeing programs.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead HSW Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive HSW programs, including psychosocial and physical risk management strategies.
  • Drive Cultural Change: Foster a sustainable safety culture by engaging with leaders and staff across all offices.
  • Provide Expert Advice: Offer strategic and operational HSW guidance to senior leaders, managers, and committees.
  • Build Strong Relationships: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including Workcover, Work Health and Safety Queensland, and other relevant authorities.
  • Manage Projects: Lead HSW projects, maintain a compliant Safety Management System, and introduce proactive risk management strategies.

 

Requirements:

  • Experience in delivering and managing HSW programs, including psychosocial and physical risk management.
  • Expertise in data analysis, risk assessment, and implementing creative solutions.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Work Health and Safety Act 2011.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills to influence and drive positive outcomes.
  • A commitment to fostering an inclusive and safe workplace culture.
