We are seeking a Senior Financial Strategist to lead our team of Commercial Business Partners, delivering insights and strategies that enhance financial sustainability and operational success.

About the Role

As a Senior Financial Strategist, you will be responsible for driving and delivering financial analytics and commercial insights, ensuring data integrity, and providing critical insights to support decision-making and improve margins.

  • Drive and deliver financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
  • Provide strategic financial modelling and analysis to support short and long-term financial strategies and sustainability.
  • Drive commercial insights, including pricing and costings, to support decision-making, performance reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

You will work closely with senior leaders to implement financial strategies, monitor KPIs, and provide insightful commercial and financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Excellence: Collaborate with senior leaders to implement financial strategies, monitor KPIs, and provide insightful commercial and financial analysis.

Financial Sustainability: Lead the budgeting process, manage short and long term financial forecasts and modelling conduct financial risk assessments, and support strategic decision-making through data-driven insights.

Customer Connection: Foster strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring financial strategies align with customer and business needs.

Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Financial Performance team, driving accountability and continuous improvement.

Safety Leadership: Promote a culture of safety across the organisation, ensuring adherence to Workplace Health and Safety protocols.

What You Bring

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field; CA or CPA certification required.
  • Experience: Significant experience in finance leadership, including expertise in financial modelling, budgeting, and strategic financial planning.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of delivering actionable financial insights.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead high-performing, customer-focused finance teams.
