
Strategic Partnership Development Lead

The Senior Partnerships Manager plays a key role in the growth and success of our organization. This dynamic position involves managing existing partnership relationships, ensuring contractual deliverables are executed effectively, and strategically working with clients to achieve a return on objective while growing investment across respective properties.
Job Responsibilities:- Manage multiple key Championship and Event partnership accounts to ensure all contracted partnership arrangements are delivered and reported on.
- Develop strong relationships with all partners and event stakeholders to ensure sponsor objectives and contracted deliverables can be achieved.
- Regularly report to the Head of Client Services on the management of sponsors and the delivery of sponsor KPIs.
- Work closely with clients to ensure they receive a return on investment (ROI) while growing and uplifting investment across respective properties.
- Prepare and present partnership proposals to existing partnership clients to drive renewal and/or upgrade of existing partnerships.
- Manage a direct report who will work closely with you on your account portfolio, driving engagement and nurturing their skill set.
- Collaborate with Supercars research/insights partners to develop an insights-centered Commercial Partnerships program.
- Own key internal processes, such as TV/content deliverables mutually agreed upon.
- Work closely with the Digital Department/Greenroom to identify new opportunities across all partnerships and manage the rollout of digital assets.
- Identify new opportunities within Supercars Events and work with sponsors to provide added value to their partnerships.
- Prepare draft partnership contracts for approval/finalization/amendment by the Legal Team.
- Maintain the partnership deliverables system and partnership contract filing system.
- Involvement in planning and delivering the Business-to-Business Partner program.
- Ensure consistent delivery of all partnership entitlements at Supercars events, including attendance at most, if not all, Supercars Events.
- Assist the Corporate Hospitality team and Events team in implementing and managing various detailed partnership benefits at our Events.
- Manage Championship/Event partnership logo use and other contracted or non-contracted deliverables from time to time.
- Work with the Head of Client Services/Partnerships Managers/Partnership Executives to ensure event delivery (course car rides, grid walks, etc).
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- Minimum 6+ years' experience
- Previous experience in sales & partnerships/sponsorships and/or sporting environment (desirable)
- Sound understanding of the digital landscape and delivery of digital assets
- Experience in managing event activations
- Project management experience in dealing with large events
- Creative thinker and focused on creative solutions for clients
- Enthusiasm, confidence, and ability to work independently
- Well-developed written communication skills and ability to communicate at all levels
- Detail-oriented, organized with good time management
- Strong attention to detail and high standards of integrity
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight timeframes without close supervision
