The Accounts Officer will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of our company. This includes managing the invoicing process, ensuring accurate and timely statements, and addressing any payment issues. The successful candidate will also be responsible for monitoring outstanding debts and implementing effective debt collection strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the invoicing process, ensuring all statements are issued accurately and on time.
  • Investigate and resolve any issues with outstanding payments.
  • Monitor outstanding debts and implement strategies for effective debt collection.
  • Collaborate with engineers to track and monitor Work in Progress (WIP) reports.
  • Effectively communicate with team members, clients, and stakeholders, providing clear and concise financial updates.
  • Maintain a well-organised and efficient finance department, ensuring all financial records are up to date and easily accessible.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a finance role, preferably within a professional services or consultancy environment.
  • Strong experience with invoicing, statements, and debt collection.
  • Proficient in Xero with a solid understanding of accounting principles.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
