Job Summary

The Central Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to fill the position of Associate Nurse Unit Manager in the Recovery Unit. About the Role

In this pivotal position, you will provide essential support to the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) in the day-to-day management of the unit. Your responsibilities will include coordinating the unit's operations, maintaining clinical excellence, and working closely with staff to ensure seamless service delivery.

You will play a key role in supporting the NUM in planning and evaluating care provision, as well as taking on a leadership role in their absence. About You

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A strong background in nursing with at least 3 years' post-registration experience or current classification as a Clinical Nurse/Midwife.
  • Proven leadership abilities, including supervising nursing staff and fostering a collaborative multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and work under minimal supervision.
  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare standards, legislative responsibilities, and quality improvement systems in the nursing context.

This role offers a competitive salary package, including a base salary range of $100,343 - $107,279 per annum, plus superannuation and salary sacrifice benefits.
