Nurse Leadership Role in Acute Care

Role Overview:
The Central Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to fill the role of Associate Nurse Unit Manager in our Acute Assessment Centre 2C, AUC. As an ANUM, you will play a pivotal part in delivering exceptional nursing services within our Quaternary health service settings.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a registered nurse with a proven track record in acute and chronic nursing practice who can take on leadership responsibilities and guide less experienced staff. The successful candidate will work closely with the Nurse Unit Manager to promote continuity and consistency of care across the ward or unit.
About You:
- You must be currently registered with the Nursing board of Australia and hold a valid practising certificate.
- A minimum of 3 years post-registration experience or current classification as a Clinical Nurse is required.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and prioritise your workload effectively.
- Comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation, quality improvement systems, and contemporary nursing issues, alongside experience supervising less experienced nursing staff.
