The Village Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a residential village.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the overall operations and administration of the residential village, including staff management, budgeting, and maintenance
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and programs to enhance the resident experience
  • Coordinate and supervise the delivery of all village services, such as catering, housekeeping, and leisure activities
  • Foster a positive and collaborative community culture, addressing resident concerns and facilitating social events
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and legislation governing the management of a residential village
  • Liaise with key stakeholders, including residents, staff, and external service providers
Requirements:
  • Significant experience in a senior management role within the hospitality or residential aged care sector
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, staff, and external stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality customer service
  • Demonstrated skills in financial management, budgeting, and resource allocation
  • Thorough understanding of relevant industry regulations and legislation
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, such as business management, hospitality, or aged care
