Construction Manager – Residential Home Building Industry

Salary / Rate: per annum + vehicle + phone + tablet, etc.

Lead residential home building projects as Construction Manager. Work with the Director and site/operations teams to deliver quality homes with impact

Their growth has created an opportunity to add an experienced Construction Manager to their high-performing team.

About the Role

As Construction Manager, you will play a key role as the direct link between the Director and the team, acting as a buffer between Estimating, Design, Site, and Operations.

  • Providing on-site support, training, and development for Supervisors
  • Ensuring homes are built in accordance with contractual arrangements and approved drawings
  • Inspecting works to ensure high standards of quality workmanship, including quality inspections
  • Ensuring homes are completed on time and within budget, monitoring and controlling ETS's
  • Ensuring construction is carried out safely, in accordance with Safety Management System and WH&S legislation
  • Keeping the Onsite Companion project management system up to date during build processes
  • Managing conflicts and solving problems as they arise
About You

This role is suited for someone with thorough knowledge and experience in the Residential Construction Industry, particularly in a Construction Manager or Area Construction Manager role.

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of Queensland and Australian building codes
  • Relevant trade or tertiary qualification in Construction
  • Previous experience with Onsite Companion and similar software systems
