Job Description

The Village Manager role is a critical leadership position within our residential village. It plays a vital part in ensuring the highest standards of service and quality of life for residents.

This senior management position involves overseeing day-to-day operations, managing staff, services, and community culture, while fostering a welcoming environment that promotes positive relationships between residents, staff, and stakeholders.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing strategies to enhance resident experience and satisfaction
  • Coordinating and supervising delivery of all village services, including administration, maintenance, and customer support
  • Managing staff performance, providing training, and developing policies and procedures to improve overall operations
  • Fostering a collaborative and inclusive community culture, promoting social connections and resident engagement
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, legislation, and industry standards

Requirements:

  • A proven track record of senior management experience in hospitality or residential aged care sector
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with residents, staff, and external partners
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with capacity to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions
  • Demonstrated skills in financial management, budgeting, and resource allocation, with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Tertiary qualifications in relevant field, such as business, healthcare, or social sciences
