Business Development Manager Job Description

Green Light is a growing consulting organization known for its work in Telecommunications and System Integration Services. We have a requirement with our client partner for a Business Development Manager to join their team in Melbourne and Perth on a permanent basis.


Key Responsibilities

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing and managing a small strategic sales portfolio, with a focus on getting new business and ensuring the retention of current customer relationships. The ideal candidate will have exceptional sales relationship skills and be able to exploit these skills to achieve successful results.


Key Performance Indicators

  • Maintain required NPS scores for both Client and Vendor Stakeholders
  • Quarterly increases in new customer opportunities
  • Active participation in Strategic Sales culture and performance
  • Pipeline build and conversion

Requirements

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in selling Mobility, DAC (Networks) and general IT (Infrastructure) products. They will also have managed service sales experience and a good book of contacts with Small to Medium Size Customers. Strong numeric, written & oral communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work across all levels of the organization, including upper management.


Target Clients

The ideal candidate will have experience in working with SMBs, typically up to 200 seats, and some bigger accounts.
