Position Overview

We are in search of a Territory Account Sales Executive to advance their sales career within the dynamic Construction sector. In this role, you will represent Autodesk in a vibrant industry, promoting our construction software solutions and nurturing customer relationships within your designated territory. Your mission will be to assist construction firms in adopting and implementing Autodesk's software solutions, ensuring they receive the necessary support to meet their business goals.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about cultivating customer relationships, understanding their challenges, and achieving their objectives while meeting sales targets. This position is based in Australia and offers a hybrid work arrangement, reporting directly to the Director of Mid Market Accounts.

Key Responsibilities

Manage key accounts throughout the entire sales cycle, from identifying potential clients and prospecting to contract negotiations and closing deals. Qualify and manage inbound leads and sales pipeline. Conduct thorough market research to identify prospective customers. Deliver demonstrations and presentations of Autodesk's construction solutions. Collaborate with Autodesk's technical team to ensure seamless demonstrations and implementation guidance. Work alongside customer management to develop a project plan for software implementation and post-sales support through our Resellers. Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and retention, collaborating with our Customer Success Team. Stay informed about industry trends and competitive offerings. Collaborate with the broader Autodesk sales team to achieve sales targets and organizational goals. Position Autodesk solutions to leading associations within the building industry in your assigned market. Work with the renewals team to retain and expand existing accounts. Provide accurate forecasts of business performance.

Minimum Qualifications

8-10 years of experience in selling software solutions/products within the construction sector. Proven track record of success in sales within the construction industry. Experience engaging with decision-makers and developing relationships. Understanding of Autodesk products and services, as well as broader construction market trends. Ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences. Experience in prioritizing sales opportunities through strategic account planning to meet quotas. Collaborative team player, working with other Account Executives, sales support, and technical teams to deliver exceptional customer service while closing deals. Adaptable to changing market conditions and customer needs, with a willingness to learn new technologies and product features.

Salary is one component of Autodesk's competitive compensation package. Offers are determined based on the candidate's experience and geographic location.
