We are in search of a Territory Account Sales Executive to further their sales journey within the dynamic construction sector. In this role, you will represent Autodesk in a vibrant industry, promoting our construction software solutions and nurturing customer relationships within your designated territory. Your mission will be to assist construction firms in adopting and implementing Autodesk's software, ensuring they receive the necessary support to meet their business goals.

The ideal candidate will excel in building customer relationships, understanding their challenges, and achieving their objectives while fulfilling sales targets. This position is based in Australia and offers a hybrid work arrangement, reporting directly to the Director of Mid Market Accounts.

Key Responsibilities

Manage key accounts throughout the entire sales cycle, from identifying prospects to contract negotiations and closing deals. Qualify and manage inbound leads and sales pipeline. Conduct market research to identify potential clients. Deliver demonstrations and presentations of Autodesk's construction solutions. Collaborate with Autodesk's technical team to ensure seamless demonstrations and implementation guidance. Develop project plans for software implementation in conjunction with customer management and outline post-sales support strategies through our Resellers. Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and retention by working closely with our Customer Success Team. Stay informed about industry trends and competitive offerings. Work collaboratively with the broader Autodesk sales team to achieve sales targets and objectives. Position Autodesk solutions to leading associations within the building industry in your assigned market. Collaborate with the renewals team to retain and expand existing accounts. Provide accurate business forecasts.

Minimum Qualifications

8-10 years of experience in selling software solutions/products within the construction sector. Proven track record of success in sales within the construction industry. Experience engaging with decision-makers and fostering relationships. Understanding of Autodesk products and services, along with broader construction market trends. Ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences. Proficient in prioritizing sales opportunities through strategic account planning to meet quotas. Capable of collaborating effectively with other Account Executives, sales support, and technical teams to deliver exceptional customer service while closing deals. Adaptable to changing market conditions and customer needs, with a willingness to learn new technologies and product features.
