Genetics Project Manager

A key opportunity exists to manage genetics projects as part of a collaborative effort. This is a 16-month fixed-term engagement, facilitating parental leave coverage.
About the Role- Develop strategy and implementation plans in collaboration with stakeholders, addressing industry priorities for genetics and genomics investment in the red meat sector.
- Ensure timely delivery of research outcomes by working closely with contracted research organisations and service providers.
- Manage the National Livestock Genetics Consortium (NLGC) Taskforce.
- Coordinate the Livestock Genetics Project Call process where required.
- Represent the organisation at genetics R&D events, including forums, workshops, seminars, field days, and conferences.
- Assist with report preparation for internal use and key industry stakeholders.
The successful candidate will hold an appropriate visa/residency status for full-time employment in Australia.
