Enterprise Sales Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Director to lead our Enterprise business in Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth by developing and executing a scaled customer acquisition strategy.

This role offers a unique opportunity to build trust-based relationships with customers and partners, while leading a high-performing team to achieve exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive Sales Growth: Exceed quarterly and annual targets through strategic planning and execution
  • Build Strategic Relationships: Develop long-term relationships with executive-level customers and partners
  • Communicate Value Proposition: Effectively communicate Databricks' value proposition through customer interactions, presentations, and proposal submissions
  • Lead High-Performing Team: Enable the team to understand customer commercial goals and relate them to the Databricks value proposition
Requirements:
  • Leadership Experience: 5+ years of experience as a high-growth technology leader with direct experience leading a 'new business' sales team
  • Technical Product Expertise: Experience translating technical products to business value for C-Suite executives
  • Coaching and Development: Ability to coach and develop sales fundamentals to Account Executives including prospecting, forecasting, and negotiation skills
  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to the C-Suite
