About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Driver to lead our Airside team on shift. As a key member of our Customer Delivery team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of service to all customers in line with operational schedules and safety requirements.

Main Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate team members in the Customer Delivery department.
  • Ensure productivity and performance criteria are met in the designated area of responsibility, including completion of regular performance assessment reports.
  • Assist in the supervision of catering trucks within a designated work area to ensure they reach and load-up all aircraft safely and on schedule.
  • Lead by example and perform all the duties of a Driver.
  • Supervise, train, and induct workers within a designated work area.
  • Organise and coordinate work within the designated work area.
  • Perform administrative and reporting duties as required.
  • Follow up on any discrepancies and ensure all flight deliveries are correct.
Requirements
  • Demonstrating leadership, decision-making, and organisational skills necessary to efficiently meet performance requirements in a changing work environment.
  • Hands-on experience and display leadership by example.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must hold and maintain possession of a valid ASIC card.
  • Must hold and maintain possession of a valid Australian state/territory MR or greater driver's license as well as the authority to drive airside.
  • ADA Fork Lift license preferred yet not essential.
  • First Aid Certificate & WHS qualifications preferred.
  • Flexibility in working around flight schedules is essential (7-day per week operation).
  • A clean Police Record as part of mandatory checks required.
