Job Title: Security Operations Lead

Triskele Labs is seeking a highly skilled Security Operations Lead to join our team. As a key member of our Security Operations Center (SOC), you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the operational activities of the SOC. This includes mentoring the Level 2 team, managing escalations, driving resolution of outstanding issues, and improving internal processes and standard operating procedures.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security operations, incident response, and threat monitoring. They will be responsible for ensuring the SOC is running smoothly, efficiently, and effectively, and that all security incidents are properly handled and documented.

The Security Operations Lead will work closely with the SOC manager, technical team lead, and other Security Analysts at all levels to ensure the SOC is operating at its best. They will also be responsible for participating in the design and maintenance of SOC security architecture and managing escalation processes for new clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Mentor Level 2 analysts and conduct weekly mentoring sessions
  • Manage and configure security monitoring tools within the change control process
  • Perform quality audits of analyst tickets in SIEM and EDR tools
  • Continuously enhance skills through formal training, certifications, and participation in BTLO challenges
  • Review daily escalated tickets reports and manage client onboarding processes
  • Participate in the design and maintenance of SOC security architecture
Requirements:
  • Relevant experience in a leadership role within a security operations or incident response environment
  • Strong familiarity with security monitoring tools, SIEM solutions, and incident management systems
  • Operational experience in development, implementation, and continual improvement of SOC operational procedures and processes
  • Technical knowledge of networking protocols, operating systems, and common security technologies
  • ITIL Knowledge and incident response skills
