
Senior Speech Pathology Leadership Role

The Speech Pathologist will provide high-quality services and clinical leadership within the Speech Pathology department across rehabilitation and GEM wards. This position involves clinical expertise in subacute speech pathology management of patients with communicative and swallowing disorders.
- Strong leadership and contributes to the strategic plan and vision of the department
- Assessment and management of patients in accordance with up-to-date knowledge of departmental clinical policies and currently accepted professional standards of practice
- Ensuring that speech pathology services provided are based on the latest available evidence
This is a senior leadership opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced Speech Pathologist.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality services and clinical leadership within the Speech Pathology department
- Assessment and management of patients in accordance with up-to-date knowledge of departmental clinical policies and currently accepted professional standards of practice
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the department's strategic plan and vision
For this role, we require a Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology), or equivalent qualification, as well as eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia and knowledge of their Code of Ethics.
