Subacute Speech Pathologist

The successful candidate will provide high-quality services and clinical leadership within the Speech Pathology department across rehabilitation and GEM wards at multiple campuses.
- Clinical expertise in subacute speech pathology management of patients with communicative and swallowing disorders.
- Supporting and mentoring Grade 2 and Grade 1 Speech Pathologists within the team.
Strong leadership and contribution to the strategic plan and vision of the department.
- Assessment and management of patients in accordance with departmental clinical policies and professional standards.
- Ensuring speech pathology services are evidence-based.
- Opportunities for training and development.
Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology), Bachelor of Speech Pathology, or equivalent qualification.
- Eligibility for membership of a relevant professional organization.
- Knowledge of its professional standards.
- Current National criminal history check or willingness to obtain.
- At least 7 years' experience in adult Speech Pathology.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and build stakeholder relationships.
