We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health Safety Environment Advisor to lead our ESH initiatives. The role will involve interpreting and integrating health safety requirements into project planning, design, construction, and operations.

About the Role
  • This position is responsible for assisting in the execution of the safety component of an Environmental Social and Health (ESH) program inclusive of technical and administrative aspects.
  • Develops and implements effective Safety and Health Management Plans, associated plans and procedures, and training programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborates with Engineering, Construction, Procurement, Subcontracts, Commissioning, and other groups to integrate safety and health requirements within project planning and execution.
  • Provides guidance on risk assessment and ESH program execution by interpreting safety and health requirements.
  • Conducts thorough research on regulatory requirements and prepares comprehensive documentation and reports.
  • Supports ESH permits, risk assessments, and other safety and health reviews to identify areas for improvement.
  • Participates in emergency response and incident investigation and resolution to minimize downtime and prevent future incidents.
  • Interfaces and communicates effectively with stakeholders to address their ESH concerns and provide timely resolutions.
Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluates controls and corrective actions to ensure compliance with contract, regulatory, project, and company requirements.
  • Conducts regular ESH inspections and monitoring to identify hazards and risks and assess compliance with established standards.
