This is an exciting opportunity for a Permit to Work Coordinator to join our Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) Team. In this role, you will support projects and corporate offices in managing and overseeing the Permit to Work system within the organization.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all work is conducted safely and in compliance with company policies and regulations. This includes conducting risk assessments, coordinating daily work permits, and developing isolation strategies to ensure safe execution of tasks.
About the Role- Manage and oversee the Permit to Work system across various projects and locations.
- Conduct risk assessments and job safety analysis to identify potential hazards.
- Coordinate daily work permits and develop isolation strategies to minimize risks.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all Permit to Work activities.
- Liaise with other departments to plan and prioritize work activities.
- Prior experience in a similar role in construction or related industries.
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, risk assessment, and environmental management.
- Ability to recognize problems in advance and develop solutions.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
