This is a project-based opportunity within a high-impact environment.

Your Responsibilities
  • Interpret complex Enterprise Agreements and provide expert advice on Industrial Relations matters.
  • Play a critical role in payroll compliance and drive effective remediation processes.
  • Collaborate with Legal teams to clarify and action compliance requirements, Project Managers to ensure milestones are met, and IT professionals to translate IR needs into technical solutions.
  • Design comprehensive testing regimes and robust review processes to ensure the payroll platform meets current obligations and is resilient to future changes in industrial regulations.
  • Identify gaps, propose enhancements, and document outcomes that will directly contribute to the integrity and success of the new system.
About You
  • You have considerable experience in industrial/employee relations including specialist expertise in employment law.
  • Hands-on experience with payroll, detailed understanding of relevant legislative frameworks, and proven track record of successfully implementing compliance measures within large organisations.
  • Engage Unions and have a strong understanding of union priorities and practices.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, able to present findings, explain regulatory considerations and facilitate training.
  • Tertiary qualified with a degree in Employee/Industrial Relations/Human Resources/Law or related discipline.
